This 1950’s house in Broadview was introduced to us by Christine and Peter, two driven professionals that were a pleasure to work with. They were both looking for a particular type of builder and the Residence team we’re driven to meet their needs and deliver exactly what they were hoping for.
The building process was programmed and delivered on time and with a high level of finishes. The original footprint of the house was more of a maze, with hallways you could get lost in. We simplified the floor plan by rearranging the main hallway given a direct path from front to back and moving the kitchen from the centre of the house into the new extension. We created spaces that were distinctive and comfortable, adding timber floors throughout for warmth. We finished the external with a mixed material palette including salvaged brick, colorbond and axon cladding
